Iced Over & Without Power
We’ve been without power since 4 a.m.
Every minute or so, a tree, coated with ice, gives way with a crack, snap and a boom. Our road is blocked with fallen trees, our neighbor’s homes have been hit, trees have crashed into power lines.
Luckily, we have a barbecue!
I cooked chicken, feta and spinach sausage and boiled water for french press. We saw this storm on the forecast last week, so we have plenty of food and gallons of water.
I may not be posting for a while, but I wanted to post via email (from my phone) that we’re okay, moderately warm and well-fed. Hope all of you are doing as well and better.
